Monterey players commit to colleges
Monterey baseball
players Tyler Pearson and Ryan Reagor, who will be seniors
this year, have given oral commitments to a pair of college programs. Pearson,
a catcher who committed to Rice, batted .371 as a junior and led
Monterey with four home runs, 13 doubles and 32 RBIs. He also thwarted
20 stolen-base attempts. Reagor, a right fielder who committed to Texas
Tech, hit .288 last year with six doubles, one triple, one home run, 10
RBIs and 26 runs scored.
