Spenser “Doug” has 10 years of experience playing baseball at middle infield and centerfield. This is his first year at MHS. He played on the varsity at LCHS as a freshman. He is planning on attending college and then taking the game of baseball as far as it will take him. His hobbies include snowboarding, outdoor activities and baseball. Spenser wants to be a part of the winning tradition with the Monterey Plainsmen. His fondest baseball memory is hitting the game winning single to win a tournament in Select baseball. The Atlanta Braves are his favorite team and David Eckstein is his favorite player. Spenser is the son of Doug and Carmen Mailman. He has 2 sisters, Leah and Sonya and 1 brother, Alex.
