T.J. or “Squeejay” has 14 years of baseball experience playing SS and second base. He is also involved in the AG program at Monterey as well as being very active as a volunteer in Special Olympics baseball program. He plans on attending college after high school. T.J’s fondest memory in baseball was winning the City Championship in machine pitch baseball for the Cardinals. His hobbies include snow skiing, fishing, hunting, working, Girls and just “chillin”. T.J. desires to play at Monterey for the great tradition and respect you receive for being a Plainsman. His favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees and his favorite player is Cal Ripkin, He is the son of Reggie and Becky Cathey and has one brother Chad and two sisters, Betsy and Kallie.
