| Taylor “Tailbone” has 13 years of baseball experience playing lots of positions. Taylor is the President of the Senior class at Monterey and is involved in NHS, FCA and Younglife. Taylor desires to play at Monterey because of the tradition and he has grown up around Monterey baseball. His dad and uncle both played for Monterey. He plans to attend Texas Tech after graduation and play baseball and pursue a professional career in baseball after that. His hobbies include spending time with friends and family. His fondest memory in baseball is the “05 Playoff run at MHS and playing in the Little League State Tourney & Connie Mack World Series. Rusty Gerhardt and Steve Smith are his favorite players. Taylor is the son of Gary & Terri Ashby. He has two younger sisters, Amy & Angie. | |||
